Malignant meningioma

Malignant meningioma refers to the characteristics of some benign meningiomas, which gradually develop malignant changes and are characterized by malignant tumors. It appears that the tumor has recurred multiple times in the original site, and extracranial metastasis can occur. Malignant meningiomas grow rapidly, and tumors often invade into the surrounding brain, causing glial proliferation of surrounding brain tissue. With repeated surgical resection, the tumor gradually becomes malignant, and finally can transform into meningeal sarcoma. Among them, hemangioblastoma in benign meningiomas is the most common malignant change.
