Heart-ear syndrome

Cardio-auditory syndrome is also called heart-deaf syndrome and QT interval syndrome. There are three main characteristics: prolonged QT interval, syncope, and deafness. The main symptom is a short-term syncope, often induced by agitation, anger, anxiety, and excessive fatigue. People with congenital deafness, also known as Jervell-Lange-Neilsen syndrome, are autosomal recessive; those without deafness, also known as Romano-Ward syndrome, are autosomal dominant.
