Genital leiomyosarcoma

Vulvar leiomyosarcoma is rare, but leiomyosarcoma is the most common among genital sarcomas. Vulvar leiomyosarcoma accounts for 33% to 68% of vulvar sarcomas. It is more common in women aged 30-50 years, but it also occurs in young women. The age ranged from 14 to 84 years, the median age was 54 years, and the peak was 40 to 60 years. Most children's vulvar sarcomas are grape-like sarcomas. This disease is a low-grade malignant tumor that originates in smooth muscle. Lymphatic metastases are rare.
