Deep overlay
Deep anastomosis is an abnormality of the vertical relationship of the maxillary dental arch. Refers to those whose upper incisor margins cover 1/3 of the crown length of the lower anterior teeth or those whose lower anterior teeth are occluded on the tongue side of the upper anterior teeth.
