Viral myocarditis

Viral myocarditis is a localized or diffuse acute, subacute, or chronic inflammatory myocardial disease associated with a viral infection. It is the most common infectious myocarditis. Mild myocarditis has fewer clinical manifestations and is difficult to diagnose, so the pathological diagnosis is much higher than the clinical incidence. In recent years, with the improvement of detection technology, it has been found that a variety of viruses can cause myocarditis, and the incidence rate is increasing year by year. It is a common and frequently-occurring disease throughout the world.
