Glanders

Melioidosis is an endemic infectious disease caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei, which is endemic in tropical regions such as Southeast Asia and northern Australia. Bacillus thuringiensis is a rot-parasitic bacterium. People come into contact with contaminated soil or water and develop infections through direct contact, respiratory tract, digestive tract, and blood-sucking insect bites. The clinical manifestations of this disease are complex, and there are many types of clinical manifestations. Patients with acute sepsis are often accompanied by multiple purulent lesions, and those with chronic symptoms resemble hollow tuberculosis. If not treated in time, the mortality rate will be very high.
