Pediatric aneurysmal bone cyst

Aneurysmal bone cyst is a benign single bone tumor characterized by a uniform foamy translucent area within the tumor. This disease often occurs in older children and young adults. The tumor is often located in the metaphysis of the long bone and the back of the backbone or spine. Local pain and swelling, dysfunction of the affected area, can cause spinal cord compression symptoms when located in the spine. Stress is often high. Aneurysmal bone cysts are swelling osteolytic lesions that are filled with blood spaces of varying sizes. The cyst wall is connective tissue containing osteoid tissue, trabecular bone, and osteoclast-type giant cells. In dispute.
