Pediatric viral hepatitis
Viral hepatitis type D (viral hepatitis type D) is an acute and chronic liver inflammatory lesion caused by the hepatitis D virus (HDV). HDV is a defective virus that can only exist in HBV-infected humans and certain hepadnavirus-positive animals, and rarely has HDV alone. The clinical manifestations of hepatitis D depend to some extent on the concomitant HBV infection status.
