The determination of serum glucose includes o-toluidine method, glucose oxidase method, hexokinase method, glucose dehydrogenase method and dry chemical method. Among them, the glycokinase method is an internationally recommended reference method, but the reagent is relatively expensive. The glucose oxidase method recommended by China is widely used at home and abroad. At present, some units still use the o-toluidine method.
