Slit lamp

The full name "slit lamp microscope" is the most frequently used optical device in ophthalmology. Through the slit lamp microscope, the eyelid, conjunctiva, sclera, cornea, anterior chamber, iris, pupil, lens, and anterior 1/3 of the vitreous can be clearly observed, and the location, nature, size, and depth of the lesion can be determined. With accessories, the scope of inspection will be more extensive. Therefore, the slit lamp is not only an important equipment for ophthalmologist examination, but also an essential and necessary instrument for optician optometrists. Slit lamp examination is an important method for examining various eye diseases.
