Reticulocyte count
Reticulocyte count is a count of reticulocytes and the maturation of reticulocytes is determined. Reticulocytes are between immature red blood cells and mature red blood cells that have not yet fully matured. Blue-green reticular structures can be seen in the cytoplasm after in vivo staining with yellow tar blue staining solution.
