Corpus cavernosum

Penile cavernous angiography is a radiographic technique in which a contrast agent is injected directly into the penile cavernous body. Penile cavernous angiography is a relatively direct examination to understand the abnormalities of the penile venous system. It can reflect the way of penile venous return, internal structure and pathological changes of the penile cavernous body, and provide comprehensive consideration for penile vascular reconstruction or penile prosthesis implantation. However, it is a traumatic examination, and the indications should be strictly grasped.
