Lung biopsy

A lung biopsy is a percutaneous lung biopsy. It is used for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of peripheral lung lesions or diffuse lung lesions. Its indications are: (1) It can be used to diagnose non-qualitative intrapulmonary mass lesions through fiberoptic bronchoscopy, X-rays, sputum, microbial blood, etc., and it is especially suitable for diagnosing masses located in peripheral areas. (2) Diffuse lung lesions of unknown cause. Percutaneous lung biopsy can be performed under conditions of pleural adhesion. (3) Localized pulmonary infiltration. (4) Unexplained mediastinal mass.
