Abdominal perspective

Abdominal fluoroscopy can be used to observe the metal contraceptive ring, the position and shape of the fetus, and foreign bodies that are improperly swallowed by X-rays. It is most commonly used to observe certain acute abdomen, hematuria, or abdominal masses. Generally, patients with acute abdomen use abdominal fluoroscopy first, and then take plain radiographs for further observation if necessary.
