Pulse strength

Pulse strength check is an auxiliary test method used to check whether the pulse is normal. Pulse strength is related to stroke volume, pulse pressure, and peripheral vascular resistance. Increased pulse and large amplitude are due to large stroke volume, wide pulse pressure, and low peripheral resistance. They are found in high fever, hyperthyroidism, and aortic valve insufficiency. The weakened pulse and low amplitude are due to low stroke volume, small pulse pressure, and increased peripheral resistance. They are found in heart failure, aortic stenosis, and shock. Through this examination, you can determine the lesion site and the corresponding symptoms.
