Neurotrophic food poisoning

Botulism is an acute poisoning disease caused by eating foods containing Clostridium botulinum exotoxin. The disease was first discovered in Wildbad, southern Germany, in 1793. It became ill after eating deteriorated sausages and was named botulism. ldquo; botulusrdquo; means Latin sausage. In recent years, there are four clinical types of botulism: ingestion botulism, infant botulism, traumatic botulism and inhalation botulism. Clinically, neurological symptoms are the main clinical manifestations, and the mortality rate is high.
