Endothelin

Endothelin is a biologically active polypeptide consisting of 21 amino acids. Endothelin has strong contraction of coronary arteries and renal arteries; stimulates the release of atrial natriuretic peptides, increases systemic blood pressure; and inhibits renin release. Endothelin is a multifunctional physiologically regulated hormone that is involved in the occurrence and development of many diseases (such as shock and cerebrovascular disease).
