Lung capacity

Lung volume measurement includes tidal volume, inspiratory volume, inspiratory volume, residual volume, deep inspiratory capacity, vital capacity, functional residual capacity, and total lung capacity. Lung ventilation refers to the process of gas exchange between the lungs and the outside atmosphere. During lung ventilation, the lung volume will change correspondingly with different breath movements. Lung capacity was measured at different times to assess the pros and cons of lung function.
