Jejunostomy

Jejunostomy is a temporary partial ostomy, which is mostly used for intubated ostomy. Jejunostomy precautions: 1. When performing an intestinal fistula, it must be surrounded with saline gauze pads to avoid contamination, and the contents of the intestine are sucked off with an aspirator. 2. When performing a jejunostomy, the duodenal suspensory ligament must be explored, and it should be identified as the upper part of the jejunum, and then the fistula site should be selected. The top of the ostomy tube must be inserted into the distal jejunum to facilitate perfusion of nutrients.
