Peritoneal irritation

Abdominal tenderness, rebound tenderness, and abdominal muscle tension are the main signs that appear after abdominal internal organ rupture, and are peritoneal irritation signs. It can usually be caused by abdominal infection, perforation, obstruction, visceral injury and bleeding. The peritoneum is rich in nerves and blood vessels. Patients generally show severe pain that is intolerable in the abdomen, sweating, high fever, general weakness, and no speech. A variety of diseases can cause peritoneal irritation. The onset is rapid, most are curable, and very few can die due to untimely treatment.
