Triangle ligament injury

Triangular ligament injury: A fibula fracture that is located at the level of the inferior tibiofibular ligament, may be accompanied by a medial malleolus avulsion fracture or triangular ligament injury; the posterior edge of the tibia may be intact or show a triangular bone mass that is avulsed by the posterior tibiofibular ligament.
