Periodic limb movement disorder

Periodic limb dyskinesia refers to stereotypical limb movements that occur repeatedly during sleep. Patients are often unaware of their limb movements and their disruption to sleep, and this movement is often enough to interfere with the sleep of the same bed person. The lower extremity was at rest during the episode. Patients usually complain of difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking at night, and excessive drowsiness during the day. Some severe patients may also have limb movements when awakening. Patient complaints may be affected by the frequency of the seizures and wakefulness.
