Intraarachnoid cyst

Arachnoid cysts are classified into congenital and secondary types. The former is a problem, and the latter is mostly the result of extensive adhesion of the arachnoid due to trauma and inflammation. Congenital arachnoid cyst is a bag-like structure formed by cerebrospinal fluid surrounded by arachnoid membrane. Does not communicate with the subarachnoid space. Secondary cases due to arachnoid adhesions form cysts in the subarachnoid space, which contain cerebrospinal fluid. Occurs in the small cranial fossa, also found in the large occipital pond, the brain pool around the quadrilateral and saddle pool.
