Plasma viscosity

Plasma viscosity is about 1/8 to 1/4 of the whole blood viscosity, which is one of the indicators reflecting blood fluidity. Generally, plasma viscosity is mainly related to changes in its polymer compounds, such as increased concentrations of fibrinogen, globulin, blood lipids, and sugars. Increased plasma viscosity leads to poor blood flow or even blockage, which can reflect the presence of congestion.
