Combs test

The Coombs test is also known as the antiglobulin test. It is mainly used for the diagnosis of congenital hemolytic anemia and immune hemolytic disease in children. That is, the anti-IgG antibody reacts directly with the patient's bound red blood cells (direct test), or the Rh-positive red blood cells react with the patient's serum (indirect test), agglutination may occur.
