Allogeneic scleral implantation

It is suitable for repairing large-scale tissue defects of the upper and lower eyelids and eyelid reconstruction. Precautions for allogeneic scleral implantation: 1. Do not cut around the cornea when removing the allogeneic sclera, otherwise it cannot be unrolled and must be spirally cut from the front to the back. 2. Cut off the allogeneic sclera and pay attention to scraping the inner pigment as much as possible. 3. When separating the superior vault conjunctiva, the inseparable range is too backward, which leads to prolapse of the superior vault conjunctiva. 4. If the eyelid defect is a large defect with residual meibomian on both sides, the allogeneic scleral graft and the remaining inner and outer meibomian can be sutured. 5. During the operation, the free margin of the levator levator must be carefully searched and sutured with the upper edge of the allogeneic scleral graft to ensure that the upper eyelid can still move after surgery.
