Extremity long bone fractures are often accompanied by varying degrees of swelling after surgery, which can cause pain in the affected limb and affect postoperative functional exercise and incision healing. If the swelling is severe, it can directly affect the blood circulation of the limbs and even serious complications such as osteofascial compartment syndrome.
