Gastrointestinal ulcer

Peptic ulcer is a general term for gastric ulcer (GU) and duodenal ulcer (DU). It is named because ulcer formation is related to the digestive effect of gastric acid / pepsin. Is a chronic common disease, the treatment is more difficult. Occurs in young adults. The main symptom of ulcer disease is upper abdominal pain, which can be asymptomatic or concealed. This pain is related to diet and is often caused by hunger, medication, acidic food or drinks. Pain can be relieved by eating, drinking, and taking alkaline foods.
