Anti-Jo-1 antibody

Jo-1 antigen is a histidine tRNA synthetase that appears as small molecular ribonucleoproteins (scRNPs) in the cytoplasm and has a molecular weight of 50KD. It is one of aminoacyl tRNA synthetases. Anti-Jo-1 antibody has strong specificity for the diagnosis of polymyositis, and is currently recognized as a serum-labeled antibody for polymyositis (PM).
