Chronic cholecystitis

Chronic cholecystitis refers to chronic inflammatory lesions of the gallbladder, most of which are chronic stone cholecystitis, accounting for 85% to 95%, and a few are noncalculus cholecystitis, such as typhoid carriers. The disease can be delayed by repeated episodes of acute cholecystitis, and can also be chronic. The clinical manifestations are non-specific. The common symptoms are dull pain in the right upper abdomen or heart socket, fullness and discomfort after eating, belching, nausea and occasional vomiting after eating greasy food. In the elderly, asymptomatic cholecystitis can be asymptomatic.
