Urethral fistula

Urinary fistula (urinary fistula) refers to the abnormal channel formed between the reproductive organs and the urinary system, which manifests as leakage of urine. Common bladder vaginal fistula, urethral vaginal fistula, ureteral vaginal fistula (collectively referred to as urinary fistula). Genital fistula is an extremely painful and damaging disease. According to the urine flow, it is divided into external fistula and internal fistula. External fistula is the urethral fistula of the penis, scrotum, perineum, which is partly or completely excreted through the abnormal channels of the urethra during urination. An internal fistula is a part or all of urine flowing through another organ in the body during urination and then excreted from the body, such as urethral vaginal fistula, urethral rectal fistula. According to the occurrence site of urethral fistula, it is divided into anterior urethral fistula and posterior urethral fistula. According to the cause and time, it is divided into congenital urethral fistula and acquired urethral fistula.
