Food flows back to the nasal cavity
Soft palate cancer may develop difficulty in swallowing and produce sound changes in the later stage. Fixation, destruction, and perforation of soft palate can cause food to flow back into the nasal cavity. The surgical complications were open nasal sound and food reflux nasal cavity.
