Live babies born before the 37th week of gestation are called premature or premature infants. Most of her birth weight is below 2500g, and her head circumference is below 33cm. The shorter the gestational age, the smaller the baby and the shorter the body. A few preterm infants who weigh more than 2500g and whose organ function and adaptability are poorer than those of term infants should still be given special care.
