Cryptococcosis

Cryptococcosis is a subacute or chronic deep mycosis caused by Cryptococcus neoformans in the genus Cryptococcus. It can invade the human body's skin, lungs, bones and other organs, but the most common invasion of the central nervous system accounts for about 80% of cryptococcal infections. The prognosis is severe and the mortality rate is high. In recent years, due to the emergence and spread of AIDS, the incidence of cryptococcal infection has been increasing.
