Lipoma

Lipoma is a benign tumor that originates from adipose tissue. Around the tumor there is a thin layer of connective tissue cysts containing normal adipocytes divided into leaf-like clusters by connective tissue bundles. In addition to a large amount of adipose tissue, some lipomas also contain more connective tissue or blood vessels, forming complex lipomas. Adipose tissue can occur in any part of the body, but it rarely occurs. It occurs clinically under the skin of the shoulders, back, and buttocks. Larger volumes require surgery. More common, more common in middle-aged people (50 to 60 years old).
