Subtemporal space infection

Infratemporal space infection is an acute purulent infection of the infratemporal space. The main clinical manifestations are swelling of the superior, inferior, and mandibular branches of the zygomatic arch, deep tenderness, and varying degrees of restricted mouth opening.
