Male adolescent breast development

Male adolescent mammoplasia refers to the enlargement of one or both breasts caused by benign hyperplasia of breast tissue during male development. It usually occurs in the age of 12-16 years, and the enlarged breast tissue is generally not more than 3cm. It may be asymmetric and have mild tenderness. Most of them last for 12-18 months, and gradually shrink to disappear as the male sexual development matures. Some also last for 2-3 years or even exist for a long time.
