Purulent infection of the renal cortex

Renal cortical purulent infection is a serious infection caused by staphylococcal blood transfusion into the renal cortex. A liquefied renal inflammatory mass is called acute focal bacterial nephritis. When an abscess is formed, it is called a renal cortical abscess or purulent Nephritis, a fusion of several abscesses, is called a kidney crest. With the development of broad-spectrum antibiotics, due to the timely application of antibiotics to control primary infections, the incidence of purulent infections of the renal cortex is reduced compared with the previous, and most of them are acute focal bacterial nephritis.
