Nystagmus

Nystagmus, referred to as nystagmus. It is an involuntary, rhythmic, reciprocating eyeball movement. It is often caused by diseases of the visual system, extraocular muscles, labyrinth of the inner ear and central nervous system. Nystagmus can be divided into two categories according to the etiology, clinical characteristics and related neuro-ophthalmological conditions: ① sensory defect nystagmus such as gaze nystagmus; ② motor defect nystagmus such as gaze Paralytic nystagmus.
