Magnetic resonance enhanced scan

A magnetic resonance enhanced scan is a CT or MR scan after an intravenous injection of a contrast agent. Contrast agent is injected into the veins and distributed to normal or abnormal tissues of the human body. The blood supply and supply source of various tissues are different. Therefore, the distribution amount, distribution time and clearance rate of contrast agents are different. Because the CT contrast agent contains a high-density substance, iodine, the density of the tissue increases as the contrast agent is distributed. The MR contrast agent contains paramagnetic substance radon, which can shorten the T1 time of the tissue and enhance the signal. The amount of radon absorbed by the tissue is different, and the degree of signal enhancement is different.
