Anterior gonioscopy is an examination of the width of the anterior chamber angle and its change in intraocular pressure fluctuations. It is of great value in the diagnosis and treatment of various glaucoma. In addition, anterior chamber gonioscopy is also helpful in the diagnosis of foreign bodies in the anterior chamber angle or tumors of the iris root, neovascularization, etc.
