Plasma heparin

Plasma heparin content is determined by measuring free heparin in the plasma of patients undergoing hemodialysis and anticoagulation therapy, and dynamically detecting changes in free heparin and coagulation factors in the plasma of patients undergoing anticoagulation therapy. The determination of plasma heparin content can ensure the efficacy of heparin and reduce the risk of bleeding, and can be monitored in the laboratory. Plasma heparin assays generally include heparin cofactor II activity assays and low molecular weight heparin assays (LMWH).
