Pre-S2 protein
Serum pre-S2 protein: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) coat protein includes HBsAg, pre-S1, and pre-S23 components. Pre-S1 may be related to HBsAg transport and secretion, and pre-S2 may mediate HBV adhesion to human liver cells. Detection of anti-PreS2 antibodies in serum was used as a method to evaluate the preventive effect.
