Adult umbilical hernia

Umbilical hernia in adult is a hernia formed after the umbilical ring is closed, and the scar tissue gradually bulges under the increase of intra-abdominal pressure and pushing of the abdominal cavity. See, often secondary to prolonged increase in intra-abdominal pressure and excessive stretch of the abdominal wall. Adult umbilical hernias are characterized by their inability to heal themselves, and their size increases, prone to incarceration or strangulation; secondly, the contents of the hernia tend to adhere to the skin of the umbilical scar, and usually cannot be accepted, and surgery is required.
